Great atmosphere! Staff was attentive and friendly – food was delicious! Beetroot hummus for the win! The Kataifi Ek Mek was amazing. Really great, Greek and fusion food options!
As a Greek, I am in constant search for a good Greek restaurant in South Africa. Normally, I am disappointed. It was not the case at Spiro’s. The lamb gyro open pita was excellent. I would have preferred pork as the meat served (this would be closer to what you would get in Greece). Despite this, the way the food was presented, the taste and especially the accompanying Greek salad was spot on. Closed my eyes and I could have been somewhere in Greece. The desert menu was also very authentic and very very tasty. Would recommend.
