Fabulous food. Vast menu variety, from lighter meals to great table sharing options. Even rotis and bunny chow! Choose how spicy you want it. Friendly atmosphere. Love it!
I have eaten here twice, I won’t lie, both of the times were takeouts. So I can’t say much about the atmosphere. But I can comment on the food, and I must say the first time getting takeouts was absolutely amazing. The chicken tikka masala was succulent and the spices were just right. Delicious! Unfortunately my second meal wasn’t enjoyable, at all. All I can say is SALT. So much salt, I couldn’t taste anything else, I really hope the next time will be as good as the first.
Ordered the durban curry for mains. There was no flavour in the durban curry. It was extremely sweet and had the taste and texture of butternut soup. Flavour definately lacking. Even a mild curry should still be fragrant which this definately wasn’t.
Gorgeously cooked meals, a special shout out for the Chicken Saagwala.. We are new to Hout Bay and will make this our new local Indian hang out!
