Update: waiting for over an hour for a takeaway is absolutely unacceptable. No explanation as to why either. Downgrading the score from 3.5. Review 1: Not half bad. This is such a cute Italian eatery. Very nicely decorated, playing some romantic Italian tunes and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Strand Beach road. Feeling peckish but not hungry, we decided to share a grande pizza amongst the four of us. Half Ciao Bella and half Chicken Liver. The Ciao Bella was a bit bland and quite forgettable. But the Chicken Liver pizza stole the show! Wow! I’d return just for that. It’s definitely more a date night cafe than a casual hangout spot. But I’d totally recommend it.

They have a Grande Pizza option. It’s a 45cm pizza that’s sufficient for two people, so it works out cheaper than alternatives. Also, they offer a half half topping option. The friendly staff also suggested their newly acquired draft beer options. The Lager was very light and fruity. The close proximity to the beach also lends itself out for a great place to stop after a meandering stroll on the sand.
Excellent pizzas! The best Gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. I was actually thinking of visiting this restaurant again. However, I was terribly disappointed with the customer service from both waiters. It was appalling, enough to make you want to throw the food right back up! Will never return!
