I hosted my brothers 21st at 95 Morgenster on Sunday. They allowed us to bring in balloons, very few restaurants actually allow this.We were seated at the perfect table to the one side of the restaurant. We had the MOST fantastic waiter who was extremely attentive and took the effort to ask if he may bring extra bottles of water/wine/ bubbly. He also timed all the meals so perfectly. The chef prepared a special order dark chocolate peanut butter cake for my brother. It was absolutely fantastic!I had preselected a 4 course menu for the table which I can not fault in any way!!! Every meal was served to the whole table within 1 minute, the food was consistent and absolutely delicious and the perfect portion sizes.I experienced the most fantastic service and it made my brothers birthday an absolute success! Thank you to the team at 95 at Morgenster
Lovely place but this supposed fine dining does not warrant a return. Rubbish service and overpriced food and wine. Can’t help but feel like this could be chain/franchise restaurant.
This was my 71st birthday lunch. The food I ordered was excellent but the service was SHOCKING!! The water was finished after 2 small glasses?? We had to fetch our own wine coffee spilt in my saucer and had to pay our bill at the front desk. A NO NO for such an upmarket Restuarant. Zel and Derek.
Nothing to rave about, the food was nice but portions were miniature.. management wasn’t very helpful.. It’s a beautiful estate but I wouldn’t rush back to the restaurant.
High quality food, excellent service and beautiful setting. A fabulous Italian menu with superb wines and olive oils. Slow cooked lamb ravioli was very good – simple and light. Our waiter, Brain, was great! An understated treat in the winelands.
