Can’t find any fault with this class act restaurant , well deserving its place in the top 10 South African restaurants.Lovely setting on the ever beautiful Vergelegen , the food artistically blends the finest ingredients and flavours . An absolute treat from start to finish. Apart from the 3 courses, you are surprised with small tasters in between .Knowledgeable staff provide excellent service.
What an amazing culinary experience!We enjoyed Sunday lunch at this sophisticated restaurant in the beautiful Vergelegen estate. We chose the 3 course winter harvest menu accompanied by glasses of Shiraz and merlot. Overall the food was delicious with each dish perfectly composed and a delight to the palette. Special mention must be made of the springbok main and the pork starter which were my two favorite dishes. The portions were slightly small but the flavors were perfect. The staff were absolutely brilliant and well informed about their dishes. Christo, the sommelier was a delight and was very well educated on the wine. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fine dining.
