Service was exemplary! Vibe was wonderful and not too noisy as is the case in many smallish Café’s. The cuppa, excellent. The food?! Well, THE BEST & HEALTHIEST breakfast I have ever had! Poached eggs, Cooked/prepared to perfection. The HeyHo brekkie is delectable and delish!!! It’s almost like a salad. Felt like licking out the bowl, not a morsel left ! I will be back!

Lovely quick lunch spot with great food, decent drink selection & friendly staff. We each had a burger; I had the pulled pork, which was amazing & my boyfriend had the Yes Sir, which he also really enjoyed. I must complement them on the side salad, which was fresh & exactly to my taste, not the standard lettuce and old tomato, and even had a few cashews in. Oh, prices are also well worth the portions you get. They also have specials on Wednesdays & Thursdays, and live entertainment on Friday evenings. If we lived closer, we would definitely go quite often

The food is deserving of 5 stars! Except, the side portion of chips could definitely be bigger. The only downfall to our experience at Fred and Max was poor service. Incorrect food came to the table, no cutlery or condiments were on the table, and in general the service was extremely slow. The live music every Friday night is awesome! Check it out.Prices aren’t bad and the beer and gin on tap are great.Lovely little place with a lot of potential. I love being able to sit outside too.

Seems like a nice place for lunch or dinner but I popped by for breakfast last week and ordered the eggs Benedict and they brought me a tiny amount of curdled hollandaise sauce.. I did not complain at the time because I was in a rush. But as soon as I saw my meal I was disappointed. Even if I make hollandaise at home if it begins to separate I will start over.. it ruins the dish if the hollandaise has separated and most chefs should know this and have standards to what they send out..
