Was lovely. Sat at the indoor fireplace. Family had Eisbein and I had a schnitzel. Waiter was sweet, and food didn’t take that long. Give 45 min for Eisbein. It’s made from scratch and worth the wait. The only advice, or suggestion, thicker piece of schnitzel, and give option for cheese sauce.Loved the decor and atmosphere. Rustic but reminds me of home
the vibe is absolutely amazing .the food took hella long but it was comforting because the food was fresh and perfectly crispy (pork belly ). the food taste great and the prices are decent.roughly R300 for two people. the actual service staff were on the slow side so prepare to wait for your drinks. but it really is a good restaurant and i would gladly go again !
Authentic, laid-back, country pub vibe. Excellent service, great food, good VFM. Great selection of German and local beer and decent wine options. Shall definitely be back.
Staff very rude. Waited more than 30min for a drink to arrive. Eisbein was cold and oily. The chicken schnitzel was small approximately 8cm in diameter. Overpriced for what you get. Will nor recommend anyone to go there
Lively locals from Somerset West and surrounds cake to visit this German restaurant which hosts the annual Herman inspired Bierfest which is part music festival and part feast. Guests are served pretzels and Eisbeins by Beerfest waitresses. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and the owner is really friendly which lends to the atmosphere ! Live music, good food and a great vibe.
