I love the feel of Merkava, the coffee smell hits you when you walk into the small cafe in Somerset West. It’s cosy and a great place to relax with a good cup of coffee. There are great magazines to read and a few snacks such as brownies or croissants and biscuits to snack on. The main focus is purely coffee, which makes it quite ironic that they don’t seem to have an experienced barista.. they definitely need one! The 2 ladies that made my coffee didn’t seem to know quite what to do or how the machine really works.. nonetheless it was a good brand of coffee and the milk was frothed well. The coffee is well priced at R16 for a short Americano. Will definitely visit again

Best Ginger bread flavoured coffee i have ever had in my life. The vibe is fantastic and it just smells heavenly in there. Its a tiny place so not enough seating for a lot of people, but the service, and coffee makes up for it more than enough
