Came here solo for a late lunch. I was greeted by friendly smiles and insisted on a better table than I was initially being offered. The bread was amazing. Springbok carpaccio melted in my mouth. I was reluctant to order fish as I know Belthazar to be more of a steakhouse but the baby kingclip did not disappoint. Great service from my waiter. Overall a place worth a visit. Thumbs up.
Our waitress was new but fantastically trained. She was present but not irritating. We started with a bottle of red wine that everyone thoroughly enjoyed throughout the meal. For starter my partner and I shared some calamari and for my main I had the mussels in a creamy sauce with chips on the side. All of the meals had were delicious and we all left completely satisfied!
My partner and I had the most memorable evening at Belthazar in the V&A Waterfront. We were welcomed by the warmest & friendliest faces. Debra served our table, and let me tell you, her service was on point! I just also need to give a shoutout to the chefs who keep the kitchen running and the steaks going – you guys are 5star kind of people!We will most definitely be seeing more of this place!
