One of our favorite pass times when adventuring around is to sit at a nice small cafe, staring out at the people and enjoying a cup of good coffee and a piece of cake. Cafe Alfredo gives you exactly that! We absolutely loved the coffee and the chocolate cheesecake is to die for! Even cookie had and she doesn’t like cheesecake at all, yet I had to order us a second piece so that I could have some. Our waiter was fantastic and had a great personality, something that would make me comeback; but the rest were rude and honestly ruined the experience. Our rating: quite, quaint and relaxing to have coffee and cake, but hope you get a good waiter.
V&A Waterfront is the most happening tourist spot and has quite a few eateries around. After a hectic day of travelling around Cape Town, we were famished and decided to gorge on some pasta and pizza at Cafe Alfredo. This is a modest size restaurant with an open bar. We ordered for a Spaghetti Chilli. The dish was served with a delay and the pasta looked semi-boiled. There was no hint of chilli in the entire dish and the food looked bland and pale. We were so disappointed with the food, we decided to avoid further orders.
Ordered the Alfredo pasta but asked for chicken instead of ham. Got the order with little to no chicken in it and halfway through eating the meal we found a olive pip inside the pasta. Absolutely disgusted to say the least!!!
Ordered the bolognese from Uber Eats, what I had expected and what I have received .. portrayed a huge difference. I paid so much money just to get a handful of spaghetti bolognese, that was dry and mixed all together, with specs of mince. That’s not how spaghetti is served as far as I am concerned.
