Unfortunately even though the samosas are amazing , the staff make the entire experience unpleasant. They scoff at you when you ask for help with their product , the ladies behind the counter are rude and disrespectful.
A bit on the pricey side for a samosa but the variety available is not your normal mince samosa that you find in Cape Town.✅ Prawn and Himalayan Rice Samosa was beautifully ✅ Tikka Chicken was delicious❌ Chickpea and Potato was very dry and could do with more onions and seasoning Overall lovely samosas but would love that it maybe had a bit more bite and an option for a dipping sauce to maybe lift them up a bit
If you are a lover of samoosas like me, then best pop over to Gourmet Samoosa. The only place I know that offers such delicious and unusual combinations in ‘n drie hoekie koekie!Uniquely; the samoosas are not oily which is a delight! My favourites were the spinach & ricotta and the spicy vegetable. At R45 for 5 it is a bit pricey, but worth it to try something different for a change.
So much variety!!!. They have extensive veg options as well as some delicious meat options. I had the prawn and rice samosa, I know weird combination, but it worked and was so flavourful. I also had the tikka chicken which was delicious. It’s R45 for 5 which makes it the most expensive samosa I’ve ever had but really worth every cent
