I had a terrible experience. Our food was hard and not good at all. The atmosphere was fantastic and I loved the beverages that we ordered. Our service was poor and our waiter was constantly missing. The tip was included in the price where we had no choice but paying the amount that this restaurant had decided. To be honest the only good out of this was the amazing pictures we took. We ended up going to Primi to order food, as we were not happy with the food at the grand. When I told the waiter our food was hard and did not taste fresh, all he said was okay.
What an incredible disappointment! Having had a great time here 7 years ago, I went for a late lunch today. The location is still incredible, but the food and service were poor. Waiters have to be tracked down and found. Lots of staff standing around chatting ignoring the clientele. On top of that both the Caesar salad and pizza were two of the worst of their kind that either one of us has ever had. When waiters don’t function it’s usually the fault of either poor training or management. This place has way out lived all the hype. Can’t imagine it lasting much longer.

We waited for approximately 20 minutes for drinks menus and by time our wine arrived it was another 30 minutes. Our waitress was rude and when we asked for the bill she seemed to ignore us. Even when we eventually got the attention of another waiter, he did not seem to care at all. Personally, I feel as though the restaurant has one of the best locations in CT (and the food is okay), however with this type service, I am very reluctant to go back nor take friends/family there again.
No doubt, absolutely stunning views, awesome location takes you away to island vibes. Its definitely a spot for sundowners and chill. Menu reads wells and being a joburger, pricing is good. However service isn’t impressing anyone, due to the size of location ranging from jnside to outdoors and even with multiple bars you just left feeling comparimising views for food, service and drinks. I didnt get a gin glass and you just left wanting more cos this location is everything! Go there between 4pm and 8pm, as they start shutting down from 9pm.
