I was excited to try out this new addition to Cape Town! We ordered grilled artichokes to start which immediately I noticed contained sardines (I am highly allergic and it wasn’t stated on the menu). The manager brought me a glass of milk (lactose intolerant and vegan) because the rude owner told me it would neutralize it (after my friends pointed out to the waiter the rash I had broken out in). He then told me to drink water and was very unapologetic. The waiter took our order and then another one had to come and retake it 20 minutes later. The food came incorrectly and wasn’t anything to write home about. Disappointing

Love this place always such fantastic service and friendly staff and the food is absolutely amazing!! I would really recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to satisfy your pasta cravings and the pizzas are not too bad either. Love the pasta straws as well.
Guys, this place is amazing and you should surely visit this when you are near to waterfront. Everything we ordered was just finger licking and the cocktails were super.
Having heard some great things from a friend who lives in Durban, I was excited to try Lupa, so I decided to book a table for my birthday.  When booking online (which was very easy and convenient) I requested a nice table as it was a special occasion. We definitely got the best table in the house.From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was extremely friendly and paid just enough attention without it being too much. We enjoy pizza, pasta and the chicken marsala and everyone enjoyed their food. The wine is very well priced and the homemade pasta was delicious. I really appreciate all the effort that went into making my birthday feel special as it really wasn’t necessary but it’s the reason I’m coming back next weekend with some more friends. Thanks Lupa, you really made my birthday night!** Update ** I visited a week later and was blessed with the same wonderful waitress who remembered me from the week before and reminded me that she served us on my birthday. Previously I ordered pasta, which I was very happy with but this time I went with a pizza and boy was it good! Can’t wait to go back!
