Mitchell’s is a really great pub in the waterfront with amazing service and great pizza. Their beer is also highly recommended.
Was very disappointed in how empty the place was for a Friday night. Might have something to do with the completely overpriced menu and frozen, soggy jalapeno poppers (made with cheddar and not cream cheese). On the plus side, the burger was juicy and our waiter was friendly. Still can’t justify paying R57 for a glass of locally made Beyerkloof Pinotage that wasn’t even 1/3 of the glass full or the prawn spring rolls that were thinner than my pinkie finger. Oh and the ladies bathroom was dirty with used toothpicks laying around. Clearlu no one checks ot periodically. Eeuw.
Mitchell’s is always buzzing. It’s a great spot to meet up with some friends and have a beer after work. It’s also a great spot to have a beer if you’ve been dragged along on a shopping spree. Skip the line and grab some wine.
