First things first – the service was truely amazing. They opened up early to accomodate us, and the waitress was lovely. The food was waaaay below average. Such a fine, pricey establishment, yet the food lacked quality. Cheep produce, and overall bland. Sorry guys, not the best. *2
My love for gnocchi began in Germany a few years ago but having tried the gnocchi in South Africa, nothing quite lived up to my expectations until I tried San Marco’s.San Marco’s creamy gnocchi with gorgonzola and parmesan sauce is magnificent and I keep going back for more! The location is beautiful as it’s set at a prime spot at the V & A Waterfront and it’s hard to miss, however service was a bit of a let down and needs improvement.
Had a quick stop here for some drinks. I’ve had dinner here twice before and absolutely love the food and the view and the vibe. Awesome spot to do some people watching. One of my favorite spots to visit in the waterfront.
The breakfast was good however the service was awful and the waiter was really unfriendly and not accommodating, if you want great service give this place a miss !
Nice staff, attentive and friendly, food quality below par. Pizza was a big disappointment seems like a frozen one you buy at pick n pay. Processed cheddar cheese? Really – avoid!
