Huge fan of the V&A food market! After strolling around looking at the various foods, the Gourmet Bakery’s pies caught my eye! They had interesting flavour combinations, I decided to try the Chicken & Bacon pie. They do offer to warm the pie for you in the microwave, I did this because I do not enjoy cold pie. I sat down to eat my pie, which was one of the worst I have ever had. It must have been old because it was stale and dry. This did not help because it was too much pastry and too little filling. The centre of the pie was cold. On top of this, might I add, the pie itself is quite pricey and definitely not worth it. I also tried their custard filled croissant, this was nice but a bit too sweet and overbearing, probably a better option to share.
