Cafe is in a beautiful location but that’s about the only thing good about it. The food was mediocre at best, I received terrible service, our waiter pretty much ignored us even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and the food (salad and fish and chips) took a full 45minutes to get to us. We kept getting reassured that the food was almost ready otherwise we would’ve left long ago. Maybe it would be good for a coffee.
The view is what first attracted me to this place but the warm greeting at the entrance is what sold it. We sat upstairs and enjoyed coffees in the sun before ordering French toast and the smoked hake Benedict. The French toast was to die for and the smoked hake Benedict wasn’t strong or overpowering as I had originally thought.
