This place is responsible for the addition of “eating steak in Argentina” to my bucket list. It’s fairly small, and we sat upstairs with access to the balcony for drinks after. Size makes for great service and intimate meals. Steak was some of the best I’ve ever had

Went for dinner on a rainy August evening and just as well I booked ahead of time because the proprietor turned away at least 6 couples seeking a table. We had chorizo and proveleta cheese as starters- both unique versions of the usual. Scrumptious Mains were T-bone 500g and Don Cortado ( fillet 500g) Really steak heaven. Prepared to perfection as ordered. Sides were fries and cauliflower mash.Dessert pancakes and ice cream.Highly recommended

1 – The aesthetics and place itself. This little hidden gem has a very pub like feel to it. But at the same time it feels upmarket. You also have a choice of the bottom floor or top floor.2 – The staff. We were greeted by friendly staff and the waiter that helped us was good at her job. The manager also engaged with us and made room for us on a fully booked night. The waiter was always there checking up on us.3 – The menu selection. As this is a steakhouse the menu is predominately filled with meat options.4 – The meal itself. They brought some delicious warm bread to start off with. I ordered a prime rib steak. It came perfectly cooked and it was amazingly juicy and succulent with a great side of chips. All in all the food and staff were good enough to have me coming back again.

Husband and I were treated to a dinner for 2 here for out 7 year anniversary. My dad has waxed lyrical about the space and finds every excuse to go there so I went with very high expectations and was not disappointed. Our waitress was just attentive enought that we were not left wanting and was knowleageable and enthusiastic. The food was fantastic, so refreshing to get a steak done right, perfect temp, perfect seasoning (no basting sauce, yay!) and grilled on the bone. The starters were the perfect portion and delicious and you cannot go wrong with Dolce de Leche pancakes (although I need to come back for the Dolce de Leche Ice cream as it was out of stock)

I have never had a bad experience here, in fact I always find myself returning when I want a great steak! The ambience is warm and intimate and the service is terrific. I would highly recommend their sweetbreads or anything really. Simply love this place!
