We were in the mood for fish & chips, but instead of going to our usual fisheries, we decided to give this place a try as it’s always packed. Terrible. Really the food is a 1 score. The angel fish tastes floury and dry, as if it was deep frozen before and reminiscent of a pap snoek. The hake was passable for ok, but not great. The chips were oily and fried in oil that was in desperate need of changing. The extra point is for the bubbly cashier! Such a friendly lady. But she’s not enough to have me set foot in here again.
