Went to I Love My Laundry for breakfast this morning. We ordered the kimchi, chicken and mushroom and the pork and cabbage dumplings. The service was okay. The restaurant/ laundry was quirky and uniquely different (which I loved). My lattè was good and hubby enjoyed his chai lattè. We enjoyed the sweet and sour and the mango dipping sauce the most.
We specifically went to I love my laundry for their pork buns and dim sum. We were very disappointed customers as they were no longer serving pork buns and the dim sum was dry and lacked flavour. But we do love the quirkiness of it all, and a good stop after lounging around at the book lounge.
Honestly, did these guys pay people to get a good rating? Honestly, they’re the second-worst dumplings I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. They should stick to laundry and forget the dim-sum. Service was friendly though – but the food is completely inexcusable.
Terrible experience. Not at all for ppl that enjoy food. As this place only moonlights as a restaurant but is actually a proper laundry service. The lady sitting up front when we arrived could not have been the least bit interested in us. It’s actually seemed as though we were wasting her time with a very unapologetic attitude. Food was uncooked. The sauces were mostly finished and it didn’t look lik they were interested in replacing them. The washrooms and toilets were not very cleanly. I can imagine what they probably were going for here, and how this could have potentially turned out amazing. It’s unfortunately not the reality here.
