Lovely dinner with lovely staff. The location is beautiful in its simplicity, an old South African building with wooden floors and big bright wooden windows, made of two floors. We had dinner and the lightning at night makes it very cosy too. Food was good, close to the Italian cooking it wants to recall , and even if it was nothing new or super exiting , still it was a pleasure to eat and easy to digest.
Absolutely brilliant, and highly recommended. We’ve eaten here twice and will certainly be back! Service from waitron Ty was superb. When a waitron knows his stuff it makes the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Well done!
Lovely lunch at Il Leone in Greenpoint. Nice and cosy restaurant for a very rainy and cold day in Cape Town. Table ordered carbonara, Ragu, tortilini and ravioli. Everyone enjoyed their pasta (little on the pricey side) and restaurant has a nice wine list. Lovely service and vibe.
Highly impressed at the quality of food and the consistency of each dish considering we were a table of 15. Pasta cooked to perfection, amazing hospitality and an overall great dining experience. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it. 🙂
The food was delicious, nice ambiance (especially in winter), good service. Nice that they allow you to bring your own wine (with a corkage fee).
