It took so long for us to get our drinks after we had been pestered to order drinks. Also the table was very dusty. Despite the waitress being nice, the service was really terrible and it was practically empty.
I frequently positively review restaurants but I cannot this time. No buns?! Sand in the spinach?! No Savanna dry?! Very, very loud and could hardly hear across the table. I will not revisit this establishment. La Parada in Constantia is much better.
Words can’t describe the meal we had, not even to mention the service!! What a fantastic experience, first time customer and definitely won’t be the last! Thank you @Timothy for being such a great sport! See you guys soon again!!
Arrived at the restaurant, immediately greeted by an over friendly but pleasant manager who seated me and sent the waitress over, who really could have rather chosen to take the day off. Despite her arriving for work, was far from present. But I think this is the theme, I haven’t seen anyone else that works here, apart from the manager who did the seating and then disappeared. The view and location of the actual restaurant is probably what keeps it open. The food is very below average if you’re used to food that tastes and look good. The calamari has coriander – AVOID if you can’t eat coriander (the menu won’t tell you that), the garlic aioli is revolting to say the least, it should be relabelled as garlic paste, because it really is just a shithouse full of garlic smeared on a plate. Should be served as a side and not drench your actual meal. I suppose this is a good spot to sit and have drinks, but do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else.
