Really enjoyable experience with every visit, set in a quiet part of town. With daily drinks specials and great service, you can’t go wrong. And the corn dogs are delicious ☺️
Roxy’s gets my five-star rating for meeting exactly the spec it sets out to meet. It is clear that the staff love the establishment, and this is further evidenced in the culture and treatment of patrons. I enjoy Roxy’s – and I’m not one to hunt down cheap beer specials (but they have these daily!). The venue transforms from a Deluxe coffee hub in the morning, to a buzzing lunch venue, into a diverse assortment of Capetonians enjoying afternoon beers, to something more late night. They have a very cosy fire inside, and the the most adventurous journey to the bathrooms I have yet to encounter. Say yes to Roxy’s 😉
Roxy’s is a quirky little bar in Dunkley Square with comics and movie posters for wall paper, and seating ranging from old movie seats to bean bags on the floor. They serve reasonably priced alcohol and surprisingly delicious snacks and milkshakes. Try the potato wedges and the brownies, and don’t get a fright when you visit the bathroom.
Cozy dive spot with surprisingly good food. It seems too dirty for that to be true, but it is! It’s more of a drinks spot, and I always have to be careful not to get too drunk, though, because those stairs are basically calling me to my death. But if I died falling down those stairs after eating Roxy’s Greek Salad, I would die pretty happy.
