It was an okay experience. Some of the food were going off. The sushi couldn’t be called a sushi. It was hard, blunt and I could bet it wasn’t sushi rice. I basically ate because I was hungry. There was little to enjoy. Beautiful environment though.
Buffet for R130 is not bad at all, but the contents to this buffet is. The food is very basic and they do not serve the essential buffet ribs and prawns everyday so when booking you need to ask before hand what’s on the menu for that day but basically it’s like a buffet food inn. Their chicken however was amazing the rest was average.
It would be great if there was a signature dish. The informal buffet style is pleasant. The menu could have a bit more Cape Town in flavour. As I mentioned at the start, a signature dish would make a huge differenceThe venue is not too appealing. It’s reminiscent of a large hall. Walking into the venue one is greeted with a friendly welcome but that’s as far as it goes. I had a relatively good time but it would not be my choice again. One visit is sufficient; not classified as memorable.
Parents were recommended to go to Village Buffet by locals. My mom was bedded for 3 days due to off fish and my dad phoned them to complain but zero F**** given. Worst food ever by so called Indian cuisine. Go to Midrand and learn a thing or two
