Met a business associate. The bar area was full and we were seated at a table across the corridor . Pleasant settings but not the same old pub vibe (understandably) the waiter was very attentive – I ordered the Portuguese Steak and was very disappointed as it was not as I remembered from my visit a year previous. The sauce lacked the spicy ness , the sausage was what tasted like Vienna sausage ( previously it was chorizo) and the steak portion was smaller and meat was on the tough side . My lunch partner had the peri peri chicken and I wished I had ordered because it looked good .

Go there on every visit to CT. Great food. Excellent service and very reasonable prices. Personally I love their steaks but chicken and fish also excellent.
