Visited this venue on Friday 23rd September only to find that it was closed for the winter. It would’ve been useful if this kind of information was available on the app.
A little gem hidden on the Wellington Road. It is well worth spending an afternoon here tasting the delicious starters and desserts. We will have to go back to sample more items on the menu.
I attended a lovely Valentine’s day lunch at The Clubhouse. Lovely food prepared with great care. The portions were generous and we definitely did not leave hungry. The highlight of the meal was the dessert sharing plate. I was very impressed with the intricate designs painted on the plate in chocolate. My partner and I was very impressed with our meal and we have been recommending the restaurant since. Only slight problem was that service was a little slow and our waiter often seemed flustered when she came to our table. I see this as teething problems though and it did not distract or ruin the experience.
What an amazing venue. I would recommend it for any special occasion. The food is absolutely delicious and of top standard but you are surrounded by an easy going vibe. A must for a romantic date night or just to get away from the everyday.
