The food is great here, the staff are attentive and the setting is beautiful. We had the special of the day, and meatballs and the pie. Everyone was happy with their meal – especially with the dessert!!
To be honest, for the price and quality of the food it is best to just have wine and a snack platter. It does have great atmosphere, but that is where it ends I’ve eaten here 3 times and have been disappointed al 3 times. The cheese platter is good. But rather eat at another wine farm. I
I love this place! Been here a couple times, eating, testing, drinking and buying, and every time I discover something new! Keep up the good work guys. AND good work on extending the “ramhok”, looks like the guys enjoy the extension!
The Goatshed Restaurant is one of my go-to lunch spots in the winelands. The venue is laidback and the service is always timely. I’d highly recommend their cheese and meat platters.
