Lovely location, stunning garden and a lovely deck area with a magnificentview.Staff is so friendly and caring, they offered blankets when it was bit cold and windy.We only had breakfast there, as we stayed in their boutique hotel, stunningrooms!Breakfast included drinks, fruits, yogurt and muesli, and a cooked breakfastof your choice from the menu. I’ve had an omlette, and egg benedict, they were both very well presentedand tasty. Eggs were perfectly cooked, egg yolk running down when u cut into it! ~ Cappuccino is great as well. Thank you for having us and treating us with smiles all the way.
To spoil my dad a little, pre-fathers day, we decided to try Au De Vine. Great location. Lucky for us, the sun was blazing. The gardens and the lake and the sound of water running is so peaceful. Started off with bean and beef soup. Very delicious though the bread didnt compliment it at all. Would rather much have preferred plain bread not to disguise the taste of the soup. My beef fillet was wonderfully medium and just right. A big piece, very filling with a tasty sauce to go with it. Delicious. My dad had the salmon teriyaki which he couldn’t get enough of. It looked amazing. The cheesecake he wasn’t very impressed with. The best part of all was the chocolate fondant. Wow so creamy and warm and moist and chocolatey ! I was disappointed with the coffee flavoured ice cream. Too powerful a taste for all that chocolate. Should definitely be vanilla ice cream. A real must try is also the dark choc chip milshake. So refreshing ! And lots of pieces of dark chocolate at the bottom. A yummy treat
