What you really want to know: The muffins tastes great! Plusses: The Staff is very friendly, I had a nice chat with my waiter, we got on because of our love for food. Minuses: there’s a horrible atmosphere, it’s dirty outside and the actual café is cramped. Also I feel that the cakes don’t have aesthetic @appeal (checkers chocolate cakes look better, am I right?) , nor big slices, which sucks for me. The carrot cake muffin was really great but I can’t warrant anything more than 3.5 (for my entire experience)until I go there again, the muffin was a solid 4.

Food is out of this world! Haven’t yet had a bad meal here. It’s hard to choose my favourite but perhaps the cheesecake. Close after that is everything else on the menu. Certainly their cheesecake is the best in Cape Town. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Also pet friendly.

I went around here for a quick cup of coffee in the afternoon and what a treat it was! I had the coffee paired with cheesecake and for 50 bucks it was certainly a steal. Some of the best cheesecake I’ve had in Cape Town, the guy at the counter took great delight in telling me that it was famous on Kloof street. I scanned their lunch menu and it was certainly impressive. Go if : if you fancy a lunch time treat. Don’t go if : you’re watching your weight as their vast selection of pastries will tempt you into high heaven.
