I came here in 2015 and loved it, so I returned recently. The pasta is delicious! They have really great specials on too – the staff should really punt these more. Lovely cosy feel and good food.
Been here a few times. The pizza is really great. But on my last visit to the kloof Street branch I was very disappointed. After waiting 40 minutes for a Margherita pizza we asked how long it would be, the manager responded it hasn’t even been that long. The pizza arrived 50 minutes after we ordered.
Very good food, the service was extremely slow. It was difficult to get attention from the waitress and they took a lot to give us what we asked.
We were made to feel welcome immediately and the waitron was very attentive. Great selection of Italian home favorites but wine a little on the pricey side. The carbonara was divine and the setting inside an historic building made it feel authentic and cosy.
We had a party here over the weekend and booked half the courtyard. Â If we planned a bit better, we would have booked the whole courtyard, but fortunately the non-party people were very nice and accommodating.The food is great and the service very good. Â The Courtyard provides a lovely cosy feeling especially with the fireplaces on either side.Would love to try it again!
