Love their Chicken and Cashew dish it’s great however the prawn chips delivered to table were stale and it was like biting into a piece of polystyrene. When I told he waiter, he wasn’t too bother by the issue and couldn’t change them as all of them were stale. Sushi was good but a little dry on the outside, like it had been standing for a while. This place has huge potential but need to get their staff up to speed and not server stale food.
Ordered a collection of their starters through Orderin – spring rolls, chicken wings, egg fried rice and their spicy fish cakes. No complaints on taste – bit of an anaemic sprinkling of sesame seeds on the chicken wings, but the blue cheese sauce more than made up for it. The spring rolls and fish cakes tasted as though they were prepared fresh, perhaps that explains the small portion sizes. All in all, great tasting food -next time will skip straight to mains.
Not the best, noodles were mushy, the veg overcooked and old. Generic soy sauce taste, no love or care in the food. Are their any decent Chinese places in Cape Town ? They all seem so crap.
The crispy beef is like eating a bowl of chutney with stodgy fried cornflour chunks in it.Comically poor. That with water and 2 spring rolls at almost R200Its disgraceful.
I had the Chow Mein which was drenched in sauce. SO salty! I had the Chow Mein which was drenched in sauce. SO salty! I had the Chow Mein which was drenched in sauce. SO salty!
