Riteve is a unique restaurant in that it draws together a warm gregarious community. It’s menu offers fresh well presented and well priced food that never disappoints. This place is a MUST for many of its items on the menu.Fried fish and chips, vegetarian babotie, cheese cake and milkshakes are the favourites that we repeatedly return for. There is seating both indoor and outdoor under trees and umbrellas.Adequate parking adds to the convenience.A restaurant with charm which feels like home from home. The management and staff are friendly and welcoming. I can definitely vouch for this terrific kosher restaurant.

When it comes to Kosher food in Cape Town you are incredibly limited, and this tends to create a bit of complacency when it comes to the service and food offered by Kosher restaurants. The service here is pretty lacklustre and slow. The pizzas here are incredibly oily, and that is a little off putting. Fellow diners have had salads and were not particularly impressed either.
Visited Cafe Riteve on a recent Cape Town vacation with family. The food was average. Had the tuna and mushroom cannelloni which was a bit bland and boring. Pizzas are square served on a large tile which was good. The pea soup was okay but needed some spice or chilli. Had better fish and chips in cape town. Service and decor was good. Tenisha Frank
