Hudsons drew its inspiration from America styled diners but with a modern twist... Black and copper Tom Dixon lights, leather booths, mounted animal horns and New York city street maps. It sets the tone for your urban consumer with its raw wooden tables and old-school chairs, a novel space where ideas and trends emerge over gourmet burgers and ingenious flavored milkshakes (salted caramel, lindt brownie, home-made fudge). Beer and burger, go hand in hand-literally! Each burger has a story, its ingredients, name and recipe are all hand selected and perfected by the owner, Ross and David. It is simple recipe, a beef patty made with the finest cuts of beef topped with the freshest ingredients that were locally sourced. Gourmet, foodie or innovative call it what you will it's just damn good burgers topped with thought-provoking combinations that result in gastronomical mayhem in your mouth! Biltong, chill cream-cheese, bacon jam, deboned rib or cranberry jelly. If beef doesn't appeal swap it-for a chickpea / lentil, chicken or ostrich patty. And look out for the special edition-every month a burger is created and paired up with one of the thirteen listed craft beers. Home-brewed beer is a must at Hudsons; the Boilermaker is created by Ross in small batches just outside of Noordehoek. Sit down or take-away Hudsons is something you are going to want to repeat.
