Sawadee is our go-to restaurant when we want an authentic Thai dish. We’ve never been disappointed by the quality of the food or the amazingly friendly and attentive staff. We always feel welcome and comfortable in the restaurant. I’d really recommend the litchi sago pudding for dessert – it’s amazing.
The setting is Asian styled decor, comfortable wooden seating with a very warm ambience. The service isn’t he best but there was only one waiter so we of course tipped him generously for his hard work even if we did wait a while for the food and even if he did forget the water he did a great job of running the floor. We ordered the starter platter which consisted of pear toast, deep fried calamari, chicken wings, chicken satay and spring rolls. All were quite delicious. We then ordered the pad Thai, which was a bit to sweet for my liking but very popular, sizzling lamb and seafood mix curry/on a hot plate – both divine!!!
