My husband and I went after work, the service was great very friendly! sushi was great, defiantly going back to try their dumplings.. they are so hidden away if it wasnt for the Cell C (cant remember what its called) deal we would have never found out about this place.
Went for a Groupon special and it was a solid performance. I’m not a sushi fanatic but it was ok. The Dim sum looked like it had been frozen but all in all it was a good experience. Wait staff are good and very friendly.
Got a sushi takeaway here but it was alright. Quite bland and it’s tasted as if the salmon was defrosted before use so it’s lacked all the buttery flavour of the salmon.
This little gem in Gardens is not a place I would’ve thought to visit. They have the best Dim Sum (the spinach and chives is definitely my fave). We had a mixed sushi platter and Tokyo did not disappoint! Had such a yum experience, the vibe was relaxed and the waitress was interactive and sweet. I will be back next time I’m in the area.
I do not like write bad review or giving a bad rating but i am not impressed at all. We ordered take aways via an online website and once our food arrived it was wrong, messy, tasteless and small. We called them to tell them the order was incomplete and was told that that is how it comes, we cant return it and that the online site was incorrect (which my the way is not my problem). They are unfriendly and rude.
