Amazing food, amazing personal service and great vegan options (which as I am vegan is very important). Please do not go to the Bay Leaf if you are in a hurry. This is a place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and the food of course :). Have visited many times now we are living in George and it is our favourite place for lunch.
Looked for the closest place for breakfast and actually found the best place.Had a simple one with your standard bacon, egg and some toast really enjoyed it.JoJo got the MJ omelet and trust me it was so good we will be coming here for another omelet when we are around George in the future.Service was great the restaurant is a converted house and looks great with old wooden floors and a pretty outside area. All and all they over delivered as far as I was expecting (prices are good as well)Had a bran muffin as it sounded good on the menu and again it was delicious.
Awesome little spot in George. Our flight was delayed so ventured in and were super happy with the Bayleaf, the salmon cream cheese bagel was amazing – staff & chef were warm and helpful too.
What a lovely spot for breakfast.I am s glad a friend told me of this Cafe. The service we recieved was wonderful and warm. The food:- rosti with poached eggs on mince tje same but with bacon. And eggs florentine. All delicious with perfectly poached eggs lively crisp potato rosti and good coffee.I will be back but hopefully for lunch next time.Back again and the food and service did not disappoint.
Beautiful old house converted into this lovely cafe. The food was good, unfortunately we didn’t get to try any of their famous cakes but definitely next time. The only downside was the food did take a really long time for two sandwiches and a salad.
