What an incredible experience.. attentive service, incredible food and some of the most interesting and amazing wine pairings. There were wines I was surprised by and absolutely loved. I took guests here from around the world and they were blown away with the amazing food and fantastic hospitality they received. If you love food and wine.. you should eat here.

That restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and a special touch to it from a lovely couple of the owners, which explains all the awards that place got.The whole ceremony of announcing and explaining the menu is also great, but not when you go there very hungry after eventful day of sightseeing.Food was very nice, but not a great variety to choose from and the portions were quite small.Prices for wine can get one surprised and would strongly agree to the comment that you need to bring a spare credit card with,as for 4 of us dinner+a bottle of 300 rands wine we payed over 2000 rands. Most of the quests on the night we visited were international tourists. Would much rather go and recommend to visit the similar concept of exclusive restaurant Pembreys in Knysna.

Now this is the type of restaurant you need to take that special person to every now and then. Little expensive but quaint, great chef, on lagoon, views and good service. Always springbok on menu.
