Attentive service that is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. You can sit inside or outside in a covered area amid beautiful trees in the glorious Wildernis air. Apparently they have a different menu at night than what they have in the day, and I can’t comment on the night one. What I can say is that in the day they have some really quality options including some excellent tapas choices, and the tapas portions are of a respectable size. We had spanikopita, dolmades, skaapstertjies, paella, and cioppino (Italian seafood soup). All was outstanding. It really is a stroke of genius to make paella with brown rice as it gives the dish a creamy texture that enables the flavors of the seafood and meat to meld so nicely together. Drank an apple lemon and mint freshly pressed juice. The ingredients here are so fresh! No wonder The Girls is such a Wildernis institution.
We were lucky enough to get a table on their opening night and we were so impressed – delicious food, great service and a warm, quirky interior. Also the most comprehensive wine list I’ve ever seen. Would definitely recommend to all.
Excellent service at The Girls. Happy to have stumbled upon it at the Caltex garage on the way to the beach. Great seafood options and great atmosphere. A total gem in the Wilderness and the only Halaal friendly option around. Cannot wait to return when visiting the Garden Route again.
Another gem in Wilderness. A bit hidden away and quite small. Good variety on the menu and they deliver on flavor. Excellent attentive service. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!
