What an amazing little harbour gem. You get what you pay for and a little extra (portions are great). Very friendly and entertaining staff. Cash only payment and ATM is provided inside. Very fresh and delicious. Even enjoyable on a cold winter day
A local legend, we got to experience a local dive. The vegetarian option was good – fries, spinach pies and potato pies. Potato pies were forgettable but the rest was tasty! Basic seating on benches with an old world feel when they shout your order!
A must visit for any tourist wanting to get an authentic Fish and chips experience. Food is delicious. Nothing fancy just a well priced, simple, awesome experienceLocated at the harbour where you can buy freshly caught fish, admire the colourful boats.
Down to earth restaurant on the pier is a Kalk Bay institution. Don’t expect any fancies just good old fish and chips. We ordered the yellow tail and snoek grilled with chili and garlic mayo. Absolutely delicious with an amazing view. Arrive early to avoid the crowds
Situated at Kalk Bay is this institution of Kalkys, this was recommended to us by locals and other food bloggers and wanted to see what fuss was all about. This is a particularly popular place that has existed for many years, it’s a super casual local seafood place by Harbour . We ordered snoek and calamari with chips and hake with skordalia, portions was generous and hake melted in your mouth, creamy skordalia not too much garlic. Would recommend it for those want casual fish and chips meals as not fancy.
