The Courtyard Cafe is absolutely stunning! The location, atmosphere, decor and food are just lovely. Situated on the second level, tables are set up in a sheltered courtyard with a magnificent view of the ocean and harbour. It’s tranquil and the food is glorious! We had a the slaw salad to share whilst my mum had the stir fry chicken and I had the falafels – I can’t speak for the chicken although my mum said it was flavoursome; the falafels were great – crispy on the outside and smooshy on the inside. The portions are generous and the menu offers nice sharing options, with plenty of vegan choices. There are specials on the blackboard and the food is fresh and wholesome. I really enjoyed it, the service was a bit lax however we didn’t mind sitting and waiting given our location!
This place offers so much potential with its beautiful decor and great views of the sea. The presentation of the food is very appealing however the food lacks execution. I also feel that the breakfast was overpriced. Service is slow. Not a joint I’ll be visiting again.
This is a quiet and tranquil place to be with friends and chat sitting outside and not be disturbed by other people sitting right on top of you. The waitress was friendly and efficient and the service was good. Not a huge menu but I think something for everyone could be found on it. Overall a lovely experience, I would definitely visit again.
Food was excellent. Although menu looked like many others, taste was excellent. They do have excellent vegetarian / vegan options even, sausages. Waitress was very friendly and really knew her stuff. We will be back. Great Discovery!!!@
We stopped by on our chilly walk. Just had coffee and apple crumbles – which were so delicious.There are a number of different areas to sit in from outdoor courtyard to cozy lounge so you can choose what suits your mood. The staff were great and there are nice little touches here and there decor-wise.
