Overpriced and tastes a lot like a normal ice cream lolly from childhood. R22 is way to expensive for the size. Had Belgian choc and was good after it defrosted a little, so the positive it that it doesn’t melt so quickly and is ideal for kids. Just too expensive.
Bumped into their food truck at an event I was working at. I had a go at their Gin and Tonic ice lolly, coupled with a blistering hot day it was the perfect combination, wonderfully balanced, a must try.
So many amazing combos and flavours to choose from. I first tried it on First Thursdays about 6 months ago, and completely fell inlove. Out of all the combos, I think the pineapple and chilli Is my favourite. Sweetness of pineapple, and the warmth and spiciness of the chilli. Such an awesome, local concept!
Founded in 2012 by husband and wife team, Jason Sandell and Diana Chavarro these fresh fruit lollies are made with real dairy, herbs, spices and nuts. As for preservatives or additives, you won’t find them here, they are 100% natural – Viva Las Paletas! From humble beginnings of being made in the kitchen and sold at local foodie markets, these frozen desserts are taking South Africa by storm!
