Spur Falcon Creek Knysna . We arrived at 12 . Chose to order SIMPLE meals -basic spur burgers and plates of chips and at 2 we STILL didn’t have our food. The food came in drips and drags – bringing out 2 plates of food every 20 minutes and some of the meals were wrong . The manager came out and gave a half hearted “ sorry , don’t know what’s going on “ and half an hour later we were STILL waiting. Appalling
We went for a quick lunch. The food was good but the service was very slow. The worst service I have ever experienced at this restaurant. The restaurant was not even close to full. I had to ask for service. When we eventually got service, and requested tomato sauce, we never got tomato sauce. With so many restaurants on the Waterfront, I will not return soon. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.
I vowed never to go back to Spur yet here I am. These kind of franchise establishments produce the same consistent meals looking exactly the same. Thou I found my steak cooked well, I found the prices a little high for my expectations and the wine list too commercial.
Made a stop here for coffee and dessert one evening. One of the desserts we had was the choc mud slide which was excellent! I highly recommend that for other chocolate lovers out there.
