I have honestly loved this pie shop since I was a kid. Lovely pies, great filling and great pastry. Just please make sure you actually give out the right pies. Twice now iv asked for one pie and iv gotten home and have had a completely different to what I asked for
Got some take away pies from this great little pie shop. They baked up beautifully, just followed the instructions they can with. Lovely shortcrust pastry, a lot of meat packed into each pie. Best pie was definitely the pepper steak which actually tasted like freshly ground pepper! Definitely recommend these pies!
I requested that this lovely restaurant be listed so its taken me until today (when it was listed) to be able to share my experience there over December 2015. The Pie Shop in Plettenberg Bay has been under new ownership since the beginning of December 2015, and after a haircut next door, the hairdresser mentioned this little gem to me. Efficient service with a smile by Zimbabweans and great value-for-money! What is not to love about a delicious homemade pot pie? One of the best homemade cornish pasties that I have ever eaten and they cater to each and everyones specifications (including Vegetarians I am told)!*Recommendation: Their new ownership suites them and I would highly recommend both their freshly made pies and their milk tarts.For more, find me on Twitter: LaurasW0rld
