The wine tasting is ok, lunch a bit better, service is good but I think with all the great places in the surrounding there are better options. The garden where the restaurant is based is really beautiful though.
Arrived to welcoming staff and seated in the area near a roaring fire. Venue looked great, lots of light and even a play area for kids outside. Large selection of choices for breakfast. Was feeling pretty hungry so went for the English breakfast, which didn’t disappoint. Boerewors tasted perfect, bacon portion was generous and overall a great filler. Coffee was average. Service was professional and food was served promptly, though they weren’t super full, but get the feeling that’s their standard. Pricing is standard approximately R200-R300 for a couple.Overall great venue, you feel welcome and food is tasty. As you exit be sure to pick yourself up some wine as well.
I was surprised to see no reviews for Four cousins.. even though they have opened about a year ago! We have been twice and had a great experience both times. The venue is beautiful, the service great (thanks to Alice), food is tasty and simple and a great safe place for kids to play. We only had burgers and pizza, but both were lovely and the onion rings were awesome! We will be back..
What a fantastic gem in Robertson. Congrats to the management for training your staff properly. It will be a must stop place for all travellers through Robertson.
