We were looking for brunch on a rainy day while heading home to Cape Town. Pancakes sounded perfect! A variety of pancakes are available as well as All Day Breakfasts and the usual Cafe offerings of burgers, toasties etc.Service was slow, not fun with kids. I’d suggest sitting on the pretty stoep instead of indoors where the open plan kitchen makes for a chaotic vibe. I think management should consider a less ambitious menu. (Although I was informed they were one chef short).The weak coffee did not make the hour long wait any better. Nor did the adult contemporary music CD that was stuck on the same song the entire time. The food, when it arrived, was good. Not great, not bad but definitely not worth the wait.Maybe I got them on a really difficult day but it was a horrible way to end a wonderful weekend away.
