The best fillet I have ever had Dwain had the T-bone mains and he complied with my ruling. The setting is beautiful and intimate, however the menu is limited and too expensive to include the kids in this dinner experience.

We stayed here and had breakfast and dinner. We had a very delicious dinner being the springbok for main. The mussle starter was very tasty. Panna cotta was also very good. The only negative is that the wine is very pricey and you are not allowed to bring your own wine. The breakfast is average.
Mo & Rose is situated in the Robertson Valley. This modern, chic restaurant creates a balance of sophistication and homely comfort food. The glass doors opens up to a beautiful garden filled with aloe and cactus plants creating an enchanting backdrop. The glass jars on the table with a light in the lid makes the evening feel more special and romantic. With an open plan kitchen there is a sense of composure and everyone seems to be well organised. We started off with freshly baked bread with a herb dip accompanied by a delectable amuse-bouche to excite the palate.
For main we opted for the pork fillet wrapped in bacon served with vegetable risotto and sundried tomato pesto! Wow this is comfort food at its best! The eggy-taste creme brulee was a let down but the pannacotta was simply delicious. Mo & Rose is a bit of the beaten track but definitely a gem and worth the visit!
We were recommended by the hotel we were staying at and after a short drive we arrived at this quite. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table the Resturant wasn’t so busy so we had the pick of tables. The resturant decor is modern rustic with small lighter jars on the table. We both settled for the 2 course meal. And I can say it was sublime. The pork was cooked to perfection. The only let down the creme brûlée as it was served hot with no ice cream or cream and was slightly eggy in taste. Overall a pleasant experience.
