My favorite pizza place in the world. Thin crusts, unique but genius toppings. You can also order two different toppings per pizza, half each. Please not that the prices need updating. Most are now around the R100 mark.Just wish they were open for lunch and delivered to Pinelands. I’d buy so many more.

Bruegels makes some of the best pizza in Cape Town, fresh-tasting thing bases and interesting toppings are the order of the day. The inside of this restaurant feels like a children’s daycare center, with crayon drawings covering the walls and the feeling that things are just slightly dirtier that you’d expect from a restaurant that is charging R100+ for a pizza. I love the fact that you can draw on the tablecloths, or rather table-paper. A very cool conversation starter, and something to do for the odd person in your group that isn’t very interesting but can draw. Despite great pizza, I give these guys a 3.5 based on their slightly-too-small portions and slightly-too-high prices. However, I cannot deny that I would certainly go back.
