The food is always good! It’s basic food, but you can trust that it’ll be good. Service is just okay. Not the most cosy place to eat in, but it’s part of it I guess. Overall, I love going back there.

The steamed bread and chakalaka are great. The quality and taste of the stews has deteriorated over some time. Sometimes it will just be oily or sometimes it’s just bones and barely any meat.
The stews are delicious and really take you back home. Pretty much everything in there is good, besides the service and the tripe. My girlfriend ordered the tripe, it was rubbery and had a very ugly after-taste. It’s not the tripe that you’re expecting to get when you order tripe. So, rather shy away.
Trying to order from their WhatsApp is very frustrating. You are lucky if they reply within 3 hours
