Rust is very dear to my heart. I have been coming regularly for two months now and am constantly warmed by the interactions I have with the staff. While it’s definitely known for it’s coffee and happy hour between 5 and 6, I urge everyone to sit down and try some food. My personal favourites are the battered fish and chips, and the basil pesto cheese wrap. Rust has a lot of pride in their suppliers, as they should. The effort does not go unnoticed in the high quality of their food.Besides their menu, Rust has an incredible team on the floor. It is headed by the most amazing general manager who consistently creates an atmosphere of comfort and pleasure. Day in and day out I experience affirmation and authentic engagement from the staff. Not what you’d necessarily expect from a coffee bar. The staff is aware of my lifestyle choices and it always feels as though they’ve got my back. Chat to them and find out as much as you can. There is a wealth of knowledge about their suppliers. I am so grateful for this space. Thank you.
Rust is a trendy bar/coffee shop, which I quite like. You can work there during the day with great calming atmosphere and have a drink in the evening with friends. I’ve been there a few times and enjoy doing work there. The decor is fantastic and the seating is comfortable. They have board-games available, this would be my favorite thing about Rust.
The food was good but our waitress was absent whenever we needed her and when we tipped a bit over ten percent to give her the benefit of the doubt she was incredibly rude when handling the card machine and didn’t even reply when we said thank you and goodbye in a friendly manner. I didn’t get her name but she was working day shift 04-11-2018
