Located inside Waverley Business Park, this is a simple, no-frills, vegetarian-friendly cafe (with healthy food options) that does its job really well at very reasonable prices. I’ve been here a few times now and I have never been let down by the food or service. From around noon to 2:30 PM they have a lunch buffet on display which lets you combine a lot of things on the menu, priced by weight. I really like the pesto tramezzini, the hummus wrap, and the organic vegetable curry roti. The freshly pressed juices and smoothies (dairy free options available) are great as well. And I love the quick-pick R8 cookies and munchie bars that you can buy on impulse at the payment counter. :)Location-wise, however, it seems to have restricted access. Zest Cafe’s location makes it ideal for people working or living inside the Waverley Business Park area. To get to the cafe, you need to enter the Business Park from the entrance close to the rail tracks (right at the end of Kotzee Road) and then take a left, walking up to Building 18 close to Cape Audio College auditorium.
